Learn how to track your email search and verification credits, and why some metrics require manual verification in the GetProspect dashboard.
getprospect.com's current public API (v1/v2) does not expose real-time credit balances through standard endpoints. While we can detect your **Plan Tier** and **Account Type**, detailed credit consumption must be viewed in your official dashboard.
GetProspect offers two types of credits that work differently:
Email Credits
Used for finding new valid emails. One credit is deducted per successful email found.
Verification Credits
Used for verifying existing email lists. Check if email addresses are valid.
To view your specific remaining balance, visit the Usage Section in your getprospect.com dashboard.
Your API keys are encrypted using **AES-256-GCM**. Our health checks are **read-only** and designed to:
Use Dashboard Notes
Since the API doesn't export real-time credit balances, use the **Internal Notes** field in your API Key Health dashboard to record your last known balance and set a manual check schedule.
No. Our health checks hit GetProspect's account management endpoints, which do not deduct email or verification credits.
The API returns "countFreeEntities" which represents your total available entities/leads on the free tier. For GetProspect, this is tracked separately from the monthly email and verification credits.
Visit the Usage Section in your GetProspect dashboard to see your current email credits and verification credits balance.
Once you've confirmed your usage, you can return to your central inventory to manage other keys.
API Key Health relies on official getprospect.com public API endpoints. If getprospect.com releases a new Management API with credit balance exports, we will update this integration automatically.
